Fighters Lifting Spirits

After a week of putting smiles on the faces of our servicemen and woman, the president of Golden Boy,  boxing legend and 10-time world champ Oscar De La Hoya, is back home from the Middle East.  De La Hoya took part in his first USO -Armed Forces Entertainment tour to the Middle East.  Alongside De La Hoya were  fighters  Adrien Broner (20-0, 16KO’s) ,  Danny Jacobs (22-1, 19 KO’s) and Seth Mitchell (21-0-1, 14KO’s). This was the first USO tour for all four boxers.

The boxers extend their thanks to troops and visit eight military bases in Kuwait and Iraq.  They signed autographs, shared boxing techniques and thanked all of them for protecting America.

“I hope that we were able to make a difference in the lives of the troops we met.  I am dedicated to continuing to help the USO with their mission of uplifting the spirits of our nation’s troops, sharing my experiences and encouraging others to support our brave servicemen and servicewomen in any way they can,” said De La Hoya.
