Ali, Arum, Pacquiao & Mayweather Saddened By Frazier’s Death

The boxing world is mourning the loss of heavyweight champ Joe Frazier who died Monday night. Frazier had a brief battle with liver cancer before it took his life at 67 years old.

Frazier is being remembered by so many, including former nemesis Muhammed Ali. Ali released a statement calling him a great champion.

Top Rank boxing promoter Bob Arum, who promoted Ali, said he was saddened by the loss and called Frazier “a man of his world”. Arum also said he was “torn up by Joe dying at this relatively young age.”

Manny Pacquiao, who like Frazier has a powerful left hook said: “Boxing has lost a great champion, and the sport lost a great ambassador.”

Floyd Mayweather has stepped up to pay for Fraizer’s funeral. Mayweather tweeted “My Condolences go out to the family of the late great Joe Frazier. #TheMoneyTeam will pay for his Funeral services.
