Boxing Champ Amir Khan Donates Signed Gloves To Fundraiser Of Slain Boxer

Boxing champion Amir Khan is not only a great fighter, but he’s great person as well. On June 10, Gustavo Rodriguez aka Corrales, who was 17, was shot and killed just moments after graduating high school. The teen had been a boxer at the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy in Oxnard, California, and was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

To help raise money for the family Khan has donated signed several gloves that will be auctioned off this weekend at the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy in Oxnard. Robert Garcia along with world champion Brandon Rios will host a fundraiser and an open workout on Saturday June 18.

In the EsNewsReporting video Khan asks people to make it to the fundraiser.
