I’m A Celebrity Knock Me Out Of Here

Hollywood’s Real Knockouts

Celebrity Boxing was a FOX show where has-beens gave fame one last swing. Headgear. 3 Round bouts. This was not boxing’s finest hour – though, perhaps, one of its more amusing. Two episodes saw the light of day.

TV Guide ranked it number 6 on its TV Guide’s 50 Worst TV Shows of All Time list. Hey, if you can’t be good, be good at it, right? Once again the fact that boxing is a sport everyone can (& often does) have an opinion on but only few talented & dedicated have the ability & skill to do without looking like they are using an invisible fly swatter was exposed for all to see.

Case in point… Vanilla Ice.

Baseball vs. Football (Guess who won that one)

This resounding success led to 2011’s rekinkling of the genre of B-Grade celebrities attempting to have one last moment in the limelight – however harsh that light turned out to be. Redemption was on the cards for one of baseball’s most notorious outed steroid users, but it was not to be… at all.

Other lumaries of the wider boxing world said to be interested in taking the plunge into the sport of boxing include: former England cricketer Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff & Dark Knight actor Tom Hardy. Hardy is, according to the British press, in line to face David Haye. The Sun quoted he of the problematic toe as saying “Me and Tom Hardy, that would be a good fight for sure. He has got in fantastic shape — he looks like an absolute tank. He can be my next opponent.”
