Orange, CA (October 26) – Junior Welterweight Mauricio Herrera (18-2-0, 7 KOs) trained today with his team in New York. The pugilist is set to battle against WBO NABO Junior welterweight champion Karim Mayfield (16-0-1, 10 KOs)in a title defense fight at Turning Stone Casino in  Verona, New York this Saturday, October 27.  The 10-round bout will be televised live on HBO’s BOXING AFTER DARK® beginning at 10:15 p.m. ET/PT as the co-feature to a special tripleheader featuring WBC #1 welterweight contender Thomas Dulorme vs. Argentina’s Carlos Abregu in a 12-round welterweight war and Miguel Vasquez vs. Marvin Quintero.    Below are photos of junior welterweight Mauricio “El Maestro” Herrera as he trained earlier today in New York.
