Leonard Ellerbe: Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan in the U.K. in 2014 Likely!

Apparently, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his team are already talking about going overseas to the U.K. and doing a huge promotion and fighting Amir Khan.

In a recent interview with The Steve Bunce Boxing Hour on Box Nation, Leonard Ellerge talked about this idea, and had suggested that there is a very strong possibility of it happening.

“There’s definitely a very strong possibility that Floyd will fight in the U.K. We’ll see how this thing plays out, his focus is on Saturday night and then we’ll go from there. But we’re definitely going to bring a big, big event to the U.K. I’m talking with a couple of people now and they’re giving us some options, and Floyd will definitely be coming to theU.K.The U.K are his biggest and best fans. He has a tremendous love affair for the U.K fans,” said Ellerbe.

I don’t know about you, but if they are actually able to make to organize an event against Khan on Amir’s turf, it will be the biggest payday in Mayweather’s career. Not only would the arena hold a colossal amount of people paying much higher prices for the seats, but the PPV buys from the U.K. and U.S.A. would be extraordinary.

Of course as Ellerbe stated, they are not looking past Guerrero, or are they?
