Mayweather’s Legal Battle Takes Another Turn

A U.S. District Court Judge has denied Floyd Mayweather’s emergency appeal for a court-ordered deposition. The judge says Mayweather’s motion was “without merit.”  On June 17th, Mayweather was ordered to show up to court, but he never did, trying to push back the date. 

All of  this legal drama is because Manny Pacquiao is suing Mayweather over defamatory statements he made about him using performance enhancing drugs.  “Floyd Mayweather, Jr. still is refusing to show up for his deposition. He continues to defy the Court’s Order,” said Pacquiao’s lawyer Daniel Petrocelli
