PacMan: Energizer Bunny of Boxing Fading?

Pacquiao Punches Thrown Analysis: Bradley Crossroads?

Opinion appears divided as to whether we are witnessing a cyclical or terminal downward trend in the, by now, legendary career of The Fighting Fighting Pride of the Philippines one Manny Pacquiao. As one with more than a minor statistical fascination I thought it of value to examine what semi-objective evidence so much as it exists via a closer analysis of the Pacquiao compubox numbers dating back through a selection of Pacquiao’s key victories over recent years.

This analysis was undertaken upon realizing whilst comfortably outlanding Tim Bradley – the PacMan had been out thrown… & whilst punchers would, in theory, generally be expected to out-throw counter-punchers my working hypothesis is we are witnessing the sadly inevitable (of as yet unknown gradient) downward spiral in the fabled energy levels a hallmark of so many of Pacquiao’s signature performances & victories.
