Perro Angulo Free Heading To Los Angeles

ALFREDO ANGULO, KNOWN AS “EL PERRO” IN THE RING WAS FINALLY RELEASED TODAY FROM AN ICE DETENTION FACILITY IN EL CENTRO.

SEVEN MONTHS AGO, ON THE ADVICE OF HIS LOS ANGELES ATTORNEY, HE PRESENTED HIMSELF AT THE BORDER FOR PROTECTION.

EVEN THOUGH HE HAD LEGAL SUPPORT AND OSCAR DE LA HOYA’S GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS BEHIND HIM, THE JUNIOR MIDDLE WEIGHT REMAINED LOCKED UP… UNTIL TODAY.

HIS ATTORNEY SAYS HE IS HEADING TO LOS ANGELES TO TRAIN AND GET BACK INTO THE RING.

Here’s a video of EsNews with Angulo shot a couple years back

Seven months for and expired VISA. Here is the hitch, he tried to do the right thing and turned himself in at the border. At the border because if they decided to keep and renew his VISA, he would be done in three days and if they decided to not renew his VISA he could simply go back. Instead, for unknown reasons they kept for SEVEN months! Without a charge, they just kept him, as if he were a terrorist. The warden not only would not allow him to work out, it was no secret he is a professional boxer, and that was his business in the USA, but would drop by his cell to him he was never going to be released, and his career was over.
