Roger Mayweather To Be In Phoenix Nov 30

PHOENIX, Ask a boxing fan when was the last time they were excited and felt gratification from watching a fight.

Now ask a boxing fan who has experienced an Iron Boy Production the same question, and you may not receive the answer you were expecting.

Arizona boxing has had the sense knocked back into it with four quality Iron Boy shows of packed venues and captivating matches. Instead of hearing the growls of disappointment, the audiences are overpowered by loud cheers and the passion of hometown fighters. Iron Boy Promotions will be closing out 2012 with their fifth and final show of the year on November 30, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at Celebrity Theatre.

This may very well be the best show of the year with the main event bout featuring Alexis “Beaver” Santiago (11-3-0) and in the co-main event junior welterweight Javier Loya (7-1-0). Undefeated and rising star, Trevor McCumby, (8-0-0) will also be featured in a special bout. Roger Mayweather will be on hand with a couple of young boxers in the super-middle weight class, such as Lanell Bellow (2-0-0). Mayweather will showcase his young amateur star, Francisco C. De Vaca, who will be turning to the professional ranks in January 2013.

Phoenix featherweight, Carlos Castro, will be fighting in front of his home town crowd in his fourth professional fight. Other undercard bouts will feature exciting junior welterweight Victor Castro (7-0-0) and Arizona City’s Abel Ramos (5-0-0). Out of Las Vegas in a pro debut, Jeremi Wiggins will face Glendale’s Joe Martell, and Fernando Samaniego will meet Angel Gonzales. Iron Boy Promotions started 2012 promising boxing fans great fights at a great price and will close 2012 with a grand finale.
