There have been many reports today that started online that one of the best trainers Emanuel Steward has died.

However his sister told WXYZ (a TV station in Detroit) that he is alive. This was after the online reports were in full swing.

That said, Wladimir Kiltschko, has issued this statement on facebook: “Boxing has suffered a tremendous loss with the passing of Emanuel Steward.”

Along with Klitschko many within the boxing world have been commenting on the passing of Steward.

It is hard to say, in this day and age, if Steward is alive or not.

Until we hear an official statement from his next of kin boxing fans have him in their prayers.
